I added some more marine life to the mural at the Edinger Medical Group last weekend. They asked me to continue the mural onto the bottom half of the reception door and add some more of our California state marine fish, the Garibaldi. While doing some R and D, I found that the fishes common name is a reference to the Italian military and political figure Giuseppe Garibaldi, whose followers often wore a characteristic scarlet or red shirt.

Original Owls

September 16, 2015

I posted a cropped and filtered photo on Monday of an owl. Here is the original photo.

There are actually 2 owls. One is to the right in the shade of the leaves.

Can you find the Great Horned owl?

September 14, 2015

Saw a couple owls at the San Bernardino county museum the other day. Absolutely beautiful. They were staring right at us.  I cropped and used a filter to make it a little more difficult to find it in the photo below. I’ll post the original later in the week.

New underwater mural at Edinger Medical Group, Fountain Valley. More photos to come as it progresses.

Locked but not loaded, yet.

The booth is ready for ammunition. Drawings and paintings will be hung in the morning.

Sales start at 11am, so you’ll be able to get your Saturday lie in. Flock of Seagulls are on at 7:30pm, and Berlin follow at 8:30. That gives a good window for enjoying Yucaipa’s old town, and supporting local artists and local business.
