April 13, 2009The STINGLE FIN
March 9, 2009Before i went to Brasil, GrifFIN and i talked about shaping up a board based off of the old Aipa stinger. It wasn’t able to accompany me on my trip, but i got it glassed as soon as i got back. Not patient enough to wait and paint it, Grif and i took it out the day it came out of Clearwater. We scored head high, slightly textured, HB, with no one out… and let me tell you this board is by far my favorite board i have. Everyone should have a Stingley in there quiver! A couple of my friends have ridden it and they all have the same reaction… Dude! That board is really fun… I’m gonna have to try it again. So, if you want a little dibble dabble on the Stingle fin, let’s go for a sesh. If you want your own Stingley, then i know the man who can shape ’em! Check it out!
Never Lose Your Soul
March 5, 2009“Soul Man,” was one of two comics strips that were on display at the Santos Surf Art Festival, created by Mr. Mark Sutherland. I have always been into comic book art, animation and illustration, and after looking back on the photos of my Brasil trip, i am so stoked i took these photos. Inspired by Sutho, I have made it a personal goal of mine to create and illustrate my own stories. Thank you, Mark Sutherland for your inspiration and motivation.

Last Weekend Inspirations.
November 18, 2008So as promised, here are a couple of photos from Friday and Saturday’s surf and paint sessions. This whole weekend was full of inspiration and love. I can’t wait to have a moment to myself to vibe off of the photos and memories. Life is busy, which is great… but sometimes you need some time to reflect on the moments that make you live, and channel that passion into something creative. Here are some photos from the past weekend taken from our very own Walrus. Thank you Kyle, Seahorse and Walrus for an amazing weekend, can’t wait for the next one. Oh, and by the way…
The Walrus is Paul.
Friday night light. Seahorse and I scored hard in Oxnard.

Style Master!!!!!
September 9, 2008While in San Diego at the ASR convention, i took some time to cruise around and see what the other booths had to offer. I saw the Lightning Bolt booth and couldn’t just walk by. I stopped in and checked out all the boards. While i was drooling over the boards, i looked up and did a triple take. There in front of me was the one and only Rory Russell. Once i caught my breath I told him i was a huge fan. We talked for a little bit and then he sat down, signed a poster, handed it to me, took me over to one of the boards and told me to give my camera to someone and got my photo taken with one of the all time steez monsters. My face was lit up the whole day! A huge grin from ear to ear. For those of you who don’t know who Rory Russell is… JP… Grab a Stylemasters video, or just lay your eyes on this…
