Nature love

November 7, 2015

Life is ever flowing. It is easy to bypass the details and get lost in the rat race of society. Life is what’s around you. Take a breath, slow down and let it be. Just be. Appreciate what is, and find comfort in the fact that you are alive. Feel it, all of it. Life’s peaks and troughs are definite. It’s all about the journey.

Here are some moments caught while in the flow.

No more room

It doesn’t hurt, Dad.

Can you find the Great Horned owl?

September 14, 2015

Saw a couple owls at the San Bernardino county museum the other day. Absolutely beautiful. They were staring right at us.  I cropped and used a filter to make it a little more difficult to find it in the photo below. I’ll post the original later in the week.

Yucaipa California Love.

September 13, 2015

My family and I purchased a home in Yucaipa about 2 years ago. Not only have we been blessed with a creative, family orientated (or, oriented) community atmosphere. We also scored hard with some of the friendliest neighbors anyone could ask for. This post goes out to our neighbors; and all neighbors, everywhere.

The other day my neighbor asked me if we liked sweet potatoes. Yes! I replied. Take as many as you’d like he said, they’re just on the other side of the fence.

As I walked into the gate this is what I saw

Stand tall

May 6, 2015

This little guy is one year old. We got him at the Yucaipa festival last year. The 3 little buds have shot up fast. I am looking forward to seeing what color they are.

 Cactus are so cool.

Locked but not loaded, yet.

May 1, 2015

The booth is ready for ammunition. Drawings and paintings will be hung in the morning.

Sales start at 11am, so you’ll be able to get your Saturday lie in. Flock of Seagulls are on at 7:30pm, and Berlin follow at 8:30. That gives a good window for enjoying Yucaipa’s old town, and supporting local artists and local business.

Spring, alive.
